"A great apartment" Well situated...just metres from the beach, this apartment has everything you could need. "Total relaxation." This was a fantastic find. Well equipped and very comfortable, 15 minute walk from the beach and coastal walks. Ideal for us and our 2 English Springer Spaniels. For a very good meal out try Ohlo in Eyemouth, excellent food at a good price.

"River flows" This is by far the most beautiful little flat we have had the utmost pleasure to stay in. Everything was high end , furniture and fittings, fully stocked in every room , a great big tv with everything to hand, even a Bluetooth mirror in the bathroom, I could play my Bruce Springsteen from my mobile as I showered . Literally 2 mins from eateries , little quaint shops an hills as far as the eye cood c an totally dog friendly. We sat at the table at the window an watched the river flow an folk walking their dogs . The crown hotel has beautiful food, ie dinner , their steak pie is excellent, the county inn is brill for lunches an a beer , the bridge inn has a roaring log fire an so cozy with a wee wine or 2. There's a sainsbury down a wee side street beside a Wetherspoons too. Julie couldn't have dun anymore for her guests 10 out of 10 Julie WE WILL B RETURNING

"Amazing" Watch Cottage has to be up there with our favourite cottage holidays, magnificent place for our break. We loved getting live lobsters and crab from local fishermen. Sitting in the garden each day with our books and glass (or two) of wine. Thanks Beverley, we would really like to return.

"A home away from home" My partner and I stayed at Allerton House Stables for 7 days, and it more than met our expectations. Chris and Carol gave us a warm welcome, then left us alone to enjoy our self-contained accommodation secure in the knowledge that they were next door if ever we needed anything. Allerton House Stables gave us more independence than a bed and breakfast arrangement. Nonetheless, we were given access to the main house and were able to borrow dvds and books. The accommodation was immaculate and very comfortable -- the bed was especially cosy. The location is ideal: quiet yet just a few minutes walk from the centre of the town. Just a few wee suggestions: it would be great if the wet room could somehow be converted into a dry bathroom, and a little extra cupboard space for food supplies would have been helpful. That said, I would highly recommend it. We'll certainly be back.

"St Abbs cottage" Found the cottage randomly online. Couldn't have dreamt of something so perfect. I could have stayed forever. Fully and beautifully equipped property. Cant think of anything I might have needed. The area is so tranquil and unspoilt. Even the weather was relatively kind. Managed a good few days on the beach. Feeding the seals in the harbour at Eyemouth an unexpected highlight. Will definitely book again.

"St. Margarets cottage Coldingham" Lovely cottage, clean, quaint and very private and quiet. Not keen on low ceilings in bedroom cause we keep banging our heads. That may be our problem cause getting out of bed during night you are not thinking about ceilings. If you want a peaceful, quiet time I fully recommend t this.

"Peebles visit" Fantastic appatment in the center of Peebles, it had everything that you would need and more. A home from home place, the little extras were very much appreciated. The owner was very easy to contact with a quick response time. We will be back when visiting Pebbles again.

"Ideally placed coastal hideaway." The cottage was excellently placed for walking down to the beach or along the cliff-top path to picturesque St Abbs, 10 minutes amble away.The path and beach is ideal for dolphin spotting and admiring the beautiful coastal views and wildlife and we highly recommend a walk up to St Abbs Head and Mire Loch. The cottage is cosy and surprisingly spacious with everything a couple might need for a week's getaway and situated in a private area at the end of a cul-de-sac so very private and quiet. That said, Bob and Lu were just next door if we had needed assistance and we appreciated Bob meeting us on arrival to show us around and suggest possible places to visit and eat. The milk, biscuits and wine were also nice touches! Definitely a place we would visit again and recommend wholeheartedly.

"Home from Home" Just spend 4 nights at Lavender Blue cottage, it is a lovely place has everything you would need. Laura the owner has gone above and beyond to make sure that your stay is complete we arrived to find a lovely welcome tray with home made cake and goodies basket with local treats. The garden is lovely to sit in and pass the time after a wander around Melrose centre which is just around the corner but so quiet you would not know it was there. The beds are so comfortable as well, the kitchen has everything you would need if you're self catering. I would not hesitate to recommend Lavender Blue to friends and family.

"Beautiful apartment in perfect location" We recently stayed at Lee Penn for a week and found the apartment to be clean, beautifully furnished and well equipped. The surrounding area is stunning with plenty to do especially if you like walking and mountain biking. Lucy and Dave were great hosts, extremely helpful and having them next door was an added bonus as they provided a lot of good information about bike trails and walks nearby. Lucy also gave my wife an introductory lesson in mountain biking which she thoroughly enjoyed. We stayed elsewhere in Peebles last April but after staying in Lee Penn this April would not think of staying anywhere else but Lee Penn when returning to the area again. A real gem of an apartment in a great location.

"A very well equipped and comfortable cottage with seaviews." Templehall cottage is well situated a short walk from the village with a post office, Spar and pub serving excellent food. The beautiful bay is less than a 2 mile walk with a beach cafe and the coastal path takes keen walkers further afield. The cottage was spotless with the necessary information for covid and sanitiser.

"Charming cottage" We have just spent three lovely nights at this cosy and spacious cottage. We have extended family in Melrose but there were too many family members visiting at the same time to all stay at their home so we conveniently stayed at this lovely cottage with our two young children (3 and 1). Claire and Donald arranged a travel cot for us which was perfect and Donald graciously welcomed us despite our arrival in the dark on our first night! Highly recommended and we'll certainly return next time we come to the UK to visit our extended family.

"Fantastic" This cottage was absolutely stunning, great place to relax and forgot about everything. The hottub was great spent a few days in it. Everything you need is in the cottage all you need to take is yourself and food. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch.Will definitely go back and will recommend to others. Had a lovely morning watching sum rise at St abbs harbour and seen about a dozen or more dolphins

"Home from Home (just better)" A spacious, clean and comfortable wee house located on the outskirts of Innerleithen. The house offers lovely views across the river Tweed and the surrounding hills and is within easy walking distance of the local amenities. The accommodation was warm and cosy and offered all the comforts of home and included superfast broadband and sky TV, so the kids are happy. It is within easy driving distance to Peebles and Galashiels and about a hour from Edinburgh. It is also just down the road from Traquair House and Glentress Mountain Bike Centre. Owners Willie and Chris are nearby to sort out any queries should they arise. All-in-all an excellent place to base yourself for a Borders visit.

"Stunning cottage in beautiful surroundings." My family (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed in orchard cottage for new year and thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The cottage is tastefully decorated throughout and definitely has the wow factor. Everything we needed was in the cottage which made it a home from home. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed walks by the river and into Melrose for a lovely lunch or dinner. The owners were extremely friendly and we will definitely return to orchard cottage in the future.

"Wonderful weekend" Had a fantastic weekend with family at this beautiful cottage. Location was excellent for Eyemouth and Coldingham Bay. Had a lovely meal in Eyemouth near the harbour and ice creams on the beach watching the world go by in Coldingham. The owners really have thought of everything you need for your stay, from hairdryers, candles even a torch for when it's dark and you need to walk the dog!! We loved it - you will too.
